Complaints of 2x2s about Workers

  • When staying in their followers homes, they come out of their rooms mostly for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or go to others people's homes to visit but spend little visiting time with the people they are staying with.
  • They give counsel in areas they are totally ignorant about and expect people to do what they say.
  • Their followers don't respect the workers. That's why they cover for them and instead complain about "false preachers" instead.
  • They are not approachable or respectable
  • They divulge confidential information and talk with others about what goes on in other's home.
  • They gossip about others marriage issues.
  • They are lazy and don't help around the house.
  • They base their judgments on gossip from few sources.
  • They often condemn others on their likes and dislikes and not on what is morally right or wrong.
  • They slander people in the field they don't like and use their place in the group to discredit others.
  • They make rules about their preferences and not based on what is morally right and wrong.
  • They preach about the same things over and over and after years of meetings you don't know much.
  • They don't tell you about things that would cause you to quit coming to meetings.
  • They refuse to debate issues publicly or be open about the origins of the group.
  • They refuse to allow public question and answer sessions at meetings.
  • The gospel meetings are boring and they usually tell stories they think are funny or entertaining but don't give much if any doctrine.
  • The workers beliefs vary widely on doctrinal issues and many of them are totally ignorant of even the most important doctrinal issues.
  • For the most part, they don't pay taxes, hold jobs and are not married and are so separated from reality that you have to enter a totally different mindset to talk about what is important to them.
  • The meetings are often boring and people get tired of going and mostly go out of habit.
  • They make life-changing judgments about other people without having the two conflicting parties in the room at the same time and hearing both sides with allowance for cross questioning.

I grew up in the Workers' Way and saw that the workers very softly and sweetly taught subtle lies in guile; I learned to associate "kindness" and "nice"-acting people with lies. I became confrontational to get answers. Now I'm learning to speak the full truth in love.
