Workers and their friends twist Scriptures
Scripture
Matthew 10:37 - "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
Truth of Bible
Here Jesus teaches that we should not love anyone else more than him. This is based on the first commandment that we should love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. God meaning - Father, Son, Holy Ghost. It is also a reflection of the second commandment that we are to love our neighbor as our self; we are not to love our neighbor more than ourself or more than God. To love others or ourself more than God is idolatry.
Lie of Workers
If I was to paraphrase the workers, their rendering of scripture would go like this "He that loveth father or mother more than the workers is not worthy of Jesus: and he that loveth son or daughter more than the workers is not worthy of Jesus.
The workers build on their primary lie that they are the apostles of God. Their next conclusion is that they must be as God and if you don't love them more than what your father and mother (who are probably warning you against the cult) then you are not worthy of God (them).
Uses of Lie
This lie is used to pressure people to ignore family and friends who warn people about the cult
It is used to get people to make decisions based on fear of not pleasing workers, not on love of God and neighbor.
This lie is joined with many other lies to get people to profess. This lie is repeated in many forms to produce conformity to the worker's way
This lie is used to instill fear in 2x2 followers whose children "offer for the work". They may fear that if they don't allow their child into the work or agree with it, then they are not worthy of God. Please notice how they selectively replace themselves with God in insinuations. Any sensible parent would be worried about their children preaching in a destructive cult group that practices mind control. This verse is twisted and used to pressure people who have been warned by friends about them. They may insinuate that they are "God" and if you don't do what they want, then you love something else more than them and are therefore not worthy of God. The workers are not God and I don't believe they are sent by God.
Results of lie
- Pride of workers who gain followings for themselves and make themselves like God
- Confusion of followers in trying to understand the Bible
- Motivation by fear and discomfort among followers.
- Confusion about who God is and what He is like.
- Fear of displeasing workers
- Fear of confronting workers, asking them probing questions and questioning their motives
