Many 2x2s report that they are troubled by a spirit. They believe that this spirit is of God. But it's very interesting that this spirit that they talk about is particular to the cult and not to Christians.

What's even more interesting is that they are troubled and make decisions by it. But when these same people are showed the Word of God, they have not reported being troubled. In fact, when the Bible is showed to them clearly, they quit emailing, quit writing or quit taking phone calls. Some even get violent at the presence of people who love the Lord. Some even will become violent with their own parents. I certainly do believe that their is a spirit present that causes the 2x2s to do things. And because this spirit does not like the Word of God, I don't believe it is the Spirit of God, but an evil spirit.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

We can see from this that it reminds us of what Jesus said. It does not remind us of doctrines of devils.

1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1. Do you believe there are evil spirits?
2. Do you believe that they can be cast out?
3. Do you believe the Spirit of God is stronger than the evil spirits?
4. Do you believe that you can be born again and receive salvation?
5. What does the Bible say about the gift of discerning spirits?
6. Do you believe that the Holy Spirit is afraid of the Bible?
7. Do you believe that the evils spirits like it when we believe the scripture?
8. Do you believe the Holy Spirit would cause people to become violent and injure their own parent when the works of the Lord are mentioned?
9. If we speak of Jesus Christ, and someone hates us, does it show what spirit they are of? If so, what verses in Bible would you give for your answer if someone asks?
