Conditions for entry to the group

While conditions for acceptance by the group may vary, these are the conditions for becoming a member of their group as told me by Steve Watts while he was in the Oregon City, OR "field".

1. Must come to full series of meetings held in the field by the workers
2. Must agree with everything that is taught
3. Must "profess" when the meeting is "tested".

It's very interesting to contrast the conditions for becoming a 2x2 with the parable of the sower, seed and soils.

He never mentioned to me how someone must believe in God, understand the word of the kingdom and be fruitful. In fact, God was never mentioned in the requirements to become one of the 2x2 friends.

It's interesting to compare these teachings of leaders of that group with what the Bible teaches on conditions for salvation:

Luk 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Mat 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold some sixty, some thirty.
