Scripture about Pride

Matthew 18 seems to all be related about offenses, what to believe about them, and how to deal with them.

Pro_13:10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

PRIDE - Inordinate self-esteem; an unreasonable conceit of one's own superiority in talents, beauty, wealth, accomplishments, rank or elevation in office, which manifests itself in lofty airs, distance, reserve, and often in contempt of others.

Psa_10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Psa_59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
Pro_8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Pro_11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. - Jesus Christ speaking to Saul, see Act 26:18, see Salvation through Jesus Christ.
