What is a Spirit

Quite simply, there are physical bodies and spiritual bodies. They are often interacting. Our thoughts and spirit sends influences through the world. For example, I believe in God and as a result type these few letters into my keyboard in Portland OR. People in Uganda have read what I've written. Their lives are affected. They may smile at their neighbor if they come to believe in God. God's power through the lives of his beloved children resounds through the earth. When we are born again, our spirit is born again. As us believers sleep, our spirits go back to God. But first, we must be born again.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Spirit with capital "S" in Spirit refers to God's Spirit in Bible. Lowercase "spirit" is spirit of man, evil spirit etc.

Types of Spirits

We obviously have a fleshly body, a soul, a heart, a mind, and a spirit. There are also angels, which are spirits. And there are devils which are spirits. Satan is a fallen angel, and angels are spirits. Therefore the Devil/Satan is a spirit. He is the great accuser of the brethren.

Joh_4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh_4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Reminder: Jesus Christ said he is the truth. Unless we are in the Lord Jesus Christ, we cannot worship the Father "in spirit and in truth". And "spirit" here refers to our reborn spirit, not God's Spirit.

Spirit of God and the Seven Spirits

God is a Spirit. The Holy Ghost is a Spirit. The Holy Ghost was with Mary and Jesus Christ was the son of the Holy Ghost/ Son of God. Since the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are God. If you are a 2x2, then it may be news to you that Jesus is God (he forgave sins). Workers don't honor the son as they do the father, and this is another false teaching of the cult.

Joh_4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The seven spirits of God are referred to in Revelation and references to these same spirits are sprinkled through the Bible.

Rev_3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Satan

Now we get to the heart of the matter. Satan is a spirit. And please pay close attention to these words. Don't harden your heart. Satan does not want you to read the rest of this page. In fact, he would love to distract you from learning the truth.

2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Professing

As a child, I sat in meetings. I was present as the spirit was in the meeting. You know, the same spirit that the workers summon in the meetings in your area. When I "professed" in a "tested meeting" (satanic practice), I received a spirit into my life. I cried in confusion on my way home. I had been lured and deceived by Satan. This is in stark contrast to the spirit born in me when I made Jesus my Lord and Saviour. When I received Jesus, I rejoiced in heart and an immense unspeakable joy filled my soul. I was alive and my soul rejoiced in the LORD. I was a babe in Christ. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

As a Youth

As a youth, I sat in the meetings and meditated on the words of the workers. I was a devout follower of the 2x2 workers' way. In my teens, I sat on the couch one day and begged for the spirit of the workers into my life. I received this spirit and it began making my life hell slowly but surely. I thought I had received the spirit of God, but it was not. My life showed it. I was sad, confused but had a form of godliness, but no power and lacked in true love. I learned how to condemn and punish and imitage just like the workers. How did I later find out? By trying the spirit. I eventually had to cast it out through the name of Jesus Christ. Satan would love for you to believe he and other devils don't exist. You may remember another man who worshiped Jesus who had many devils. He was called "legion".

Mar 5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Professing

I learned how to gain power from the spirit of the devil. I would read the Bible, think of a few catchy words and "nice" things to say on Saturday night and then say them with a strained voice and imitation of truth in the Sunday morning meeting. This is the spirit of the devil. The devil and demons speak through people. It may contort their face and speak in a different way. Here's what legion said through the man when Jesus Christ commanded him to leave, "What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not." Listen in Sunday morning meetings when people pray. It is not their natural voice. Look at their faces. They are not talking to you like they normally do. This evidence of demons possessing people in the meetings. It is NOT the spirit of God. I will show you the questions you can "try" the spirits with based on scripture. The spirit of the devil can be transformed into a spirit/angel of light. But there are subtle differences. The devil is the most subtle beast of all the creatures God created.

Gen_3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Going Into the Work

Satan tried to kill me when I first became a worker. He knew that God had a plan for my life. I was left to die in little trailer while convention went on. The workers fed left me saltine crackers and water as my body was ravaged by food poisoning, a deadly bacteria that kills people, called Salmonella. The workers knew I had food poisoning, but Satan was doing his work in the meetings and the workers didn't want the meeting shut down. They are under the devils power. I will prove this to you through showing you how to try the spirits.

I learned as a worker how to be subtle, speak with guile and deceive people. I learned through the spirit/ devil that was in me. We would focus before meetings on the Bible, clearing our minds and reading the Bible. I would take verses, read the cult beliefs into them and add a few nice sentences and thoughts. I was ready for meeting. This is in stark contrast to those that are born of the spirit. Read the scripture on this and do not harden your heart. If you have a hard heart, you cannot receive the understanding of God.

Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Satan on Trial

In a court room, a judge sits. People are sworn in and witnesses testify. How do people prove innocence or guilt? Questions. Jesus Christ, the great Counselor, asked questions to divide between the thoughts and intents of the heart. He divided between the soul and the spirit.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The First Question: Who is exalted and praised?

Here's a question to ask: Who is lifted up? Satan cannot praise the Lord. He hates God.
Ask yourself, how many times per meeting have you ever heard a worker or said yourself in a fellowship meeting, "Praise the LORD"?
It's ok, you don't have to lie to me. I'm going to heaven. I know how to try the spirits because I've learned from God. If you lie to yourself, you deceive yourself. Are you angry at me for asking you a question to reveal your spirit? If so, then you know beyond doubt that you have a spirit that is not of God. You need to repent and believe the gospel. You need to be born again and have this devil cast out of your life. It is not of God. If your heart overflows with joy at reading this and you thank God that this is written, it is the Spirit of God.

Who is Lord and Master?

When the workers told me to quit reading and praying with a friend, I started interviewing workers. I asked a worker, "If a worker tells me to do something against what is in the Bible, should I obey the worker or God? She told me that I should obey the workers. That brings the next question:
Who is exalted as Master?

When someone else tells you to do something against the scripture, and you show them the scripture and they refuse it, it is not of God. Read what the spirit of God does in regard to Jesus words:

Joh 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

As a worker, I learned how to testify of myself and the workers. For example, I learned to take John 10 (which is all about Jesus the Good Shepherd) and insinuate that I and my companion and others in the 2x2s were not hirelings but were good shepherds because we claimed we didn't take a salary. That wasn't what the scripture was teaching. It was teaching that Jesus is the Good Shepherd and Jesus Christ is the one who lays down his life for his sheep. But many fell for the message within the message because they were not God's sheep. All I had to do was quote scripture, change it a little and exalt the workers. What did Jesus say about others? Joh 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. What did John the Baptist (a man of God) say? Joh 3:29 (He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease.) Another example is how we insinuated as workers that we were apostles because we went out in pairs. All we had to do as workers was mention a couple of keywords in a verse and say something nice and people believed us. I even believed my own lies.

Speaks the Truth or Lies

Satan is a sneaky, tricky, subtle liar. He speaks with guile. He quotes scripture and uses nice thoughts but his intent is evil.

Ask the overseers questions. When did the group form? Write down the answers and research it. People who lie are hating you in their heart.

Pro 26:28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.

As a worker, we used flattery and praise to encourage people to come to meetings. But in the meetings we lied and deceived. We tricked people subtily to think that we were the truth. And we ignored Jesus' words when he said Joh 14:6 (Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.) We led people to believe that no one could come to the father except by professing through us in a tested meeting. And people bought it because they didn't know God and trusted us slothfully instead of trying to understand the word of God.

Satan Cannot Cast Out Satan

The apostles of Jesus Christ were given power over devils to cast them out.
Have you ever seen a worker cast out a demon?

They said about Jesus that he had a devil. But Jesus was casting out devils. He explained this to them:

Mar 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils. And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Someone who claims to be an apostle of Jesus Christ who cannot cast out devils does not have the Spirit of God. Satan can tranform himself into an angel of light and his ministers can transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, but you can tell whose side they are on when it comes down to casting out devils and praising the LORD.

Commanded to Love

Jesus commands us to love one another and love God; not to lie, deceive, manipulate and speak with guile nor twist the word of God.

2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
