Real Bible studies Parable wheat and Tares Matthew 8:1-4 Matthew 09 Matthew 10 Matthew 10 answers Matthew 13 Mark 10:17 Matthew 16 Matthew 28 Parable of Sower, Seed and Soils Luke 12:13 Mark 16 Matthew 19:16 | Matthew 10 Questions and my AnswersStudy questions from Matthew 10 and my answers Q: What did Jesus give to the 12 disciples that he called to himself? Mat 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Jesus gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and power to heal all manner of sicness and all manner of disease. When I was a worker, I never had power against unclean spirits. I could not cast out unclean spirits. I never saw anyone else that had this power nor the ability to cast out unclean spirits. I could not heal all manner of sickness. I could not heal all manner of disease. In fact, many people lost their health from being a worker. And I got sick while I was a worker and almost died after being denied medical care for so long. Who were the 12 disciples to go to?
Who were they not to go to? What were the 12 disciples to preach? Why didn't the 12 disciples need to bring along their money and extra clothes? What did Jesus say the workman is worthy of? Could the 12 disciples stay with just anyone in the city? Where were the 12 disciples to stay when they entered a city? How long were they to stay there? Why would they be brought before governors and kings? What were they to do if they were persecuted? Can anything be hid forever? Were any of the things that Jesus taught them private? Who were the disciples to fear? Who will Jesus confess to his father? Did God care about their physical well being? Did Jesus come to bring peace to the earth? Are we worthy of being a disciple if we love anybody else more than God? I grew up in the Workers' Way and saw that the workers very softly and sweetly taught subtle lies in guile; I learned to associate "kindness" and "nice"-acting people with lies. I became confrontational to get answers. Now I'm learning to speak the full truth in love. | ||||||
