The Workers Summon a Spirit of the Devil

At their meetings, workers and their followers pray to themselves and ask for a spirit to be present in their meetings. Workers claim to be led by this spirit. It is commonly known by Christians as a "spirit guide" (definitely not of God). Followers assume that this is the spirit of God, but do not "try the spirit" as commanded in the Bible.

Trying the Spirit

The evil spirits of Satan have the Devil as their lord and master, not Jesus Christ. I was able to try the spirit of the workers by asking them questions. For example, I asked Linda Brist (a 2x2 worker in the Oregon field), "If a worker asks you to do something that is against what Jesus taught, should you obey God or the worker?" She replied that I should obey the worker and that god would sort things out later! Linda Brist had been a teacher in the 2x2 organization for years and has had possession of a Bible for years, and this is what she was teaching! The spirit that was leading her was definitely not of God

Fruit of Spirit of God

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I am not left unarmed against Satan. There are many instructions of God that make me wiser and more knowledgeable. God does not want me to fall into a trap and become enslaved to Satan. In the Bible, is a clear list of the fruit of the Spirit of God. This fruit is a clear contrast to the works and deeds of the 2x2 overseers, workers, elders and other followers.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

To be able to understand the fruit of the Spirit (Capital "S" in Spirit refers to Spirit of God in Bible, lower case "spirit" refers to spirit of man, or spirit not of God), one must understand the meanings of these words. Allowing these words to be redefined by cult leaders will lead to error.

Love

We are commanded of God to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength.

Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: and thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

The commandments of the Lord are largely despised and neglected by cult followers. You may say, "But that was in the old testament. We don't need to keep the commandments anymore." To which I reply with the scripture:

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. from I John 5

I witness to you (and don't say to God on the judgment day that you weren't warned), when followers despise and neglect to write the commandments of God on their heart, they cannot love as Jesus commanded.

Simply ask your local workers if you should keep the ten commandments and ask them to name the ten commandments. Try the spirits.
