| 2x2 Beliefs as Proved by Cult Follower's BehaviorMost common basic commandments of workers to have a form of their religion:
There are some variations but for the most part, these are the most common I have found.
- Secret beliefs taught by a spirit - "Message within the message". Refusal to document beliefs to talk about them in any detail. Avoid publicity and work in secret. Don't record or video meetings.
- Meet in private homes when repeating workers messages to them
- Worship workers above God and always obey workers
- Must go to meetings and "profess" in workers meetings to be saved
- Give money and housing and food to workers
- Workers give money to overseers or buy things for them
- Workers go out in pairs and sell everything and give money to elder workers in order to be a worker
- Go to conventions and spend whole 4 days at conventions to establish brain-washing
- Overseers establish rules and commandments of their religion according to territories
- If you have a special revelation from God, you can believe it but may not talk about it in meetings or contradict the workers.
- People whose children are sexually abused by 2x2s have told me that they were told not to report it. If they did, they would be kicked out of meetings.
2x2 have some core beliefs that are proven by their behavior.
Here is a list of them:
-
- It's OK to become violent to prevent others from talking about 2x2s
- Slander is approved to make others look bad and to cover up the cult beliefs and deeds.
- Workers must change fields every so often. They must not be assigned an area permanently.
- You cannot hold a straight view of Bible and be a 2x2
- You must believe the workers above yourself
- If you don't agree with the workers where it matters, then you are wrong
- You are not to ask too many questions to the workers.
- If you ask too many questions and aren't professing, then you must be avoided.
- You must support the workers in their decisions.
- You must obey the meeting elder.
- You must obey the overseer.
- You must accept the overseer's punishment even if it is wrong.
- The workers can tell lies and it's OK.
- The workers may change their mind on key views and it's OK.
- What is acceptable to God depends on the workers in your area.
- You need to attend the worker's meetings.
- You must not attend Christian services or sympathize with them.
- TVs are OK only if the workers in your area say they are OK.
- You must respect the workers in your field even if they are not respectable.
- You need to act polite around the workers.
- Going to the movie theater is wrong according to some workers.
- It's OK for workers to hear private conversations in homes and divulge it to other elders.
- If you don't agree with the workers then you are not of God.
- If you confront a worker, then you are "rising up against the Lord's anointed."
- The Bible is not a relevant source when determining the local workers beliefs.
- You may believe that God called you to preach, but you can only be a 2x2 preacher if the overseer approves of you.
- Ugly people or people with messed up teeth cannot preach in 2x2 meetings, regardless of God.
- Slandering someone who leaves the cult is necessary to keep others from leaving.
- Workers who cause too much commotion must not be of God and must be kicked out.
- You cannot be educated on the Bible and be a 2x2 worker.
- Belonging to the 2x2 cult is more important than family relationships.
- People who don't go to meetings are going to hell.
- How often you go to meetings is a sign of how "faithful" you are.
- You must profess to be saved.
- It's OK to lie in court to defend a 2x2
- You shouldn't tell everything to the authorities.
- It's OK to not report food poisoning if it allows conventions to continue.
- Workers don't have to follow the law because they work for God and are above the law.
