Workers are apostles
Ways They have Changed

2x2 Core Belief: Workers are Apostles and Workers are Jesus in the Flesh

Emails

Certainly if you have a question, why not just ask someone who should know? I wondered if workers taught that they were apostles of Jesus Christ, so I emailed Jay Wicks and asked him. This was his response (he didn't answer my question fully) and he would not answer any more emails./p>

Now you had another question as to whether or not I teach in Africa or here on this side that I am an apostle of Jesus Christ like Paul or Peter and if not, then what office do you say you fill? Of course to us an apostle is simply a sent one or one sent by God so I guess you could say the office I fill is indeed that of an apostle. I don't suppose I've ever preached it as I would prefer that those listening would make up their own minds. Brad, if you feel that I am not sent from God then it would seem to me a waste of your time to continue this dialog. I feel secure in who I am and am not offended if you feel otherwise. - Jay Wicks

What's interesting to note about Jay's email is that he gives a simple definition of just the word "apostle" and then asks other to make up their mind. But he didn't answer the question. My question was whether he viewed himself as an "apostle of Jesus Christ" like Paul or Peter, because I know they view themselves as the only true apostles of their god. By Jay Wick's definition, many ministers would be called apostles, but by the same definition he gave, he would refuse to call them apostles. While he says he feels secure in who he is, he would not answer any more emails. - Brad Lewis

Here's an example of others also being witness to being taught that workers were Jesus in the flesh.
